Core Charge Policy

Definition:

A core charge is a refundable deposit applied to the purchase of certain products. It serves as an incentive for customers to return their old, used part (core) for recycling or remanufacturing purposes.

Core Charge Amount:

The core charge amount is clearly stated on the product page and during the checkout process. This amount will be added to the total purchase price.

Core Return Process:

1. Customers are encouraged to return their old, used part (core) within 30 business days from the date of purchase.
2. The returned core must be the same part as the one purchased, complete, and in rebuildable condition.
3. Customers are responsible for shipping the core back to us at their expense.

Core Inspection:

1. Upon receiving the returned core, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the required criteria.
2. In cases where the core is returned directly to a manufacturer or a manufacturer’s agent, the manufacturer retains the right to accept or reject the core based on their criteria.
3. If the core is in acceptable condition, the core charge refund will be processed.
4. If the core is damaged or incomplete, we reserve the right to withhold part or all of the core charge refund.

Core Charge Refund:

1. Core charge refunds will be issued within 30 business days of receiving the returned core.
2. Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original payment.

Exceptions:

1. A core charge refund will not be issued for cores received after 30 business days from the date of purchase.
2. Cores that do not meet the required criteria will not be eligible for a full refund.
